We Remember.
Today is November 11th. Today, we pause.
At 11:00 AM, on the 11th day of the 11th month, we stop what we are doing. We silence our phones, pause our conversations, and stand in quiet reflection.
From all of us at Diva Nails Salon Kelowna, we join our Kelowna community, and all of Canada, in a moment of profound gratitude and solemn remembrance.
We remember the generations of brave men and women who answered the call to serve.
We remember those who fought on distant shores and those who supported them from home.
We remember those who faced unimaginable challenges in the name of peace and freedom.
We remember those who were injured, physically and mentally, by their service.
We remember those who never returned home.
The freedom we enjoy today—the freedom to live our lives, to run our businesses, to gather with our families—was bought at an immeasurable price. Today, we honour that price. We honour the veterans who are still with us, carrying the stories and lessons of our history. We honour the active members of the Canadian Armed Forces who protect us today.
To all who have served and all who continue to serve: Thank you.
