A Moment of Reflection Before Remembrance Day
As we approach November 11th, we at Diva Nails Salon Kelowna wanted to share a quiet message with our wonderful community.
Tomorrow is Remembrance Day. It is not just a holiday; it is a profound and important day of observance across Canada. It’s a day to pause our busy lives, to stand in solidarity, and to collectively honour the incredible bravery and immense sacrifice of the men and women who have served in our armed forces.
We remember those who fought in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. We remember those who gave their tomorrows so that we could have our today. We also extend our deepest gratitude to those who serve our country right now, at home and abroad, carrying on that legacy of duty and protection.
Our nail salon Kelowna is a place of community. We have the privilege of hearing your stories, and we know that many of you have personal connections to service—through parents, grandparents, partners, children, and friends. Our thoughts are with all of you as we share in this collective remembrance.
Diva Nails & Spa Kelowna will be open on November 11th (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM), but we will, of course, be observing the moment of silence at 11:00 AM.
We encourage everyone in Kelowna to take that moment, wherever you are, to reflect on the cost of peace and the gift of freedom.
